As of January 1, 2010, all employee and volunteer permit holders in the state of Indiana are required to attend a certified server training within 120 days of employment. In order to come into compliance, all current permit holders must attend an approved server training program by May 1, 2010.

This is a 2 hour class that reviews Indiana statutes governing the sale and serving of alcohol, spotting fake I.D.'s, signs of intoxication and liability. At the end of the class you are required to take a short quiz that each person must pass in order to obtain their certificate. Certification is valid for 3 years.
Each person will be required to show a valid government I.D. (such as an Indiana Driver's License) which includes a photo, name, date of birth and physical description in order to participate in the class.
